Good sized, clean room, on the inside of the building which means quiet aside from noises from other guests. Able to eat breakfast on the patio. Friendly, very helpful staff. reasonably central location, although plaza is about 8 blocks away. All in all: nice place
Nice looking traditional posada, very friendly and helpful staff
Bed was very uncomfortable, pillows as well. I can usually sleep everywhere , I don't pay too much attention to beds... The sheets didn't look too clean :(
Fantastic welcome, really helpful reception staff. Good central location. Would have liked to stay longer but was booked up.
We enjoyed that Posada was close to the main square, staff spoke English, breakfast was good-they made it fresh for each room. Room was cleaned each day.
We had a few garden insects came into the room through the a few corner holes in the walls because it was hot. They didn't jump around and they will scatter when light is on. Also, our room did not have AC despite what the website page says so it was unbearably hot (October), which the staff offered their fan for us to use.
It was perfect, staff is really kind and attentive to the need of the tourist. The rooms are clean, comfortable and big. The location of the hotel is great, as is close to the center and good for a walk but not in the middle of the 9th de Julio crowd.
The rooms close to the reception are a bit noisy
It looks like a big nice house rather than hostal There is a good backyard garden and I enjoyed really nice breakfast at there. The owner and staffs are really frendly and helpful Clean and spacious room, hot shower, room cleaned everyday. Good location. Big supermarket carrefeur is in 1 minute walk. I recommend it!
The room was really clean, the breakfast amazing. The staff is kind and professional. Highly reccommended.
Very friendly staff. Excellent location to explore Salta city. Nice garden to hang out after a busy day of sight seeing. Highly recommended.
Breakfast was a bit basic, but that doesn't outweigh all the positive aspects this place has to offer.
Position, breakfast and most important...the staff assistance!
The staff, and especially Sebastian - he was so nice and helpful and speaks perfect English.
Maria Luisa is a wonderful lady. She is very nice and makes you feel at a friends house immediately. She was very helpful organizing my trip, helping finding hotel in humahuaca, finding a guide for doing the north... Etc The hotel is nice. Rooms are clean and charming. Location is quite good. Not in the center but everything is by walking distance in tilcara. Just with big rucksacks can be a bit heavy at 2500m above sea. I would definitely stay here if I came back to Tilcara.
The owners were outstandingly helpfull, even though they spoke little English and we spoke no Spanish. My wife became very sick, and they were extremely helpful at referring us to an excellent private hospital, and followup after. The building is very spacious with a gteat inside covered courtyard, and also an outside courtyard.\, and also a lovely lounge which is like a large living room. Also the high ceilings were great. Excellent value for the price range.
Only one minor thing. They must use some sort of disinfectant spray, or other means of application which leaves a very strong odor in the pillows, which caused me some discomfort as I am very hyper-sensitive to these kinds of vapors/odors.
Big room for family of four, easy location for walk to town. Restaurants near by.Lovely garden, great to get out of regular hotels.
the breakfast pretty basic. Limited understanding by wait staff as to our requests. Pillows not great, wooden beds made alot of noise when rolling around. Toilet seat not properly secured, shower very small. Room satisfactory but could do with a little cosmetic touch ups.
Very friendly staff! Beautiful building
It was a bit loud and warm in the night.
Staff is very friendly and helpfull.
We paid around USD 60 per room per night. That is too expensive. USD 30-40 would be appropriate. Breakfast is very basic. In general the hotel is very outdated and a bit rundown. However, the location is very good, the rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly.
